2008 Sydney Park Orienteering Series
The NSW Stingers have returned to organise the 3rd
Sydney Park Series. The extended series of 7 races will commence on
Monday 7th
January at Longueville. The Bigfoot Sprints will feature as the final of the
series on Saturday 16th February in Lindfield.
The Park Series is suitable for beginner and experienced Orienteers
alike. One exciting course will showcase some of Sydney’s best parks, bushland
and cityscape terrains.

A new era in NSW elite Orienteering commenced today, with youth conquering experience.The 2nd race in Sydney’s Park Orienteering Series took place in Vineyard Creek (Telopia) and was the event organised by a Sydney Club.

Tracy Bluett and the NSW Stingers got the 2008 Sydney Park Orienteering Series off to a great start. 65 competitors ran the fast but technical course predominately in the grounds of St Ignatius Riverview school at Longueville.
