The popular Balls Head map was the location for the 3rd Sydney Park Orienteering Series race. Peter Preston set a fantastic course that even the most experienced orienteers had to think hard about the fastest route.

A new era in NSW elite Orienteering commenced today, with youth conquering experience.The 2nd race in Sydney’s Park Orienteering Series took place in Vineyard Creek (Telopia) and was the event organised by a Sydney Club.

Tracy Bluett and the NSW Stingers got the 2008 Sydney Park Orienteering Series off to a great start. 65 competitors ran the fast but technical course predominately in the grounds of St Ignatius Riverview school at Longueville.
